Brian Boru: Biography of a Medieval King from Ireland

Brian Boru, one of medieval Ireland’s most celebrated figures, was an Irish king who played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s history. He is best known for ending the centuries-long dominance of the Uí Néill over the High Kingship of Ireland and resisting the Viking invasions that had threatened Irish sovereignty.
