On the Origin of the Species and The Voyage of the Beagle

From 1831-1836 Charles Darwin embarked on a journey aboard the H.M.S. Beagle that eventually led to him to the famous conclusions he drew in Origins of Species by Means of Natural Selection. As the ship’s naturalist, he made exhaustive observations of the geology and natural history of the region and collected numerous samples.
